Calling for Good MPF Employers in 2020-21!

The 2020-21 Good MPF Employer Award, organized by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, is inviting applications now!

To specially commend and give public recognition to employers that have made continuous efforts to further enhance the retirement protection of their employees, employers who fulfil the relevant requirements will be presented with one or both of the following SEPICAL awards:

- Good MPF Employer 5 Years+
- Best All-round MPF Employer

This year, the Award covers the period from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021. Employers wishing to apply for the Award can simply submit an application online on the Good MPF Employer Award website by 30 June 2021.

A “personal account” is an MPF account held under your own name that serves to retain accrued MPF assets derived from your former employments.

Complete the below forms 1 and, 2 or 3:

1. Application Form - Personal Account Member [AP(PM)-MT]
2. Request for Fund Transfer [RFT(MEM)]
3. Employee Choice Arrangement Form [MPF(S)-P(P)]

Submission

Submit the completed form to BCT together with a copy of your HKID Card / Passport to BCT

A “regular employee account” is an MPF account of which the primarily mandatory contributions and any voluntary contributions are paid in respect of any current employment of a member of an MPF scheme.

Complete the Member Enrolment form.

Upon completion of your enrolment, you will receive:

Notice of Participation;
A Personal Identification Number (PIN), which give you direct access to BCT’s interactive voice response system (IVRS), online account and mobile application services

A self-employed person ("SEP") is a person who earns income from the production of or trade in goods or services in a capacity other than an employee. If you are a sole-proprietor of or partner in a business, you are regarded as an SEP under the MPF System. If you are an SEP at least 18 but under 65 years of age, you have the legal obligation to enroll yourself into an MPF scheme.

A “causal employee account” is an MPF account of which the primarily mandatory contributions are paid in respect of any person who works in the construction industry or the catering industry on a day-to-day basis, or for a fixed period of less than 60 days.

Submit the completed enrolment form to BCT with a copy of your HKID Card / Passport

Once BCT receives your Enrolment Form, we will send you the following:

Notice of Participation;
