I have recently become self-employed. When should I enroll myself in an MPF scheme? How to set up the account?

You must enroll in an MPF scheme within 60 days from the day you have become a self-employed person.

Please complete and return the following form(s) and documents to us for opening an account.

1. Application Form – Self-employed Person
• BCT (MPF) Pro Choice [AP(SEP)-MT]; or
• BCT (MPF) Industry Choice [AP(SEP)-IS]
2. Industry Classification Form [IC-I(ALL)] [only apply to BCT (MPF) Industry Choice]
3. Copy of HKID card / passport
4. Copy of Business Registration Certificate (if any).
